A versatile big voiced performer who sings with a lot of heart, Michael Traupman has been singing professionally for more than three decades. Since 2020, he has co-hosted “Bob Egan and Friends” on the Virtual Piano Bar Network, where he has performed hundreds of songs from the Great American Songbook, Broadway, as well as popular hits from the 1950s through present day. Michael has appeared onstage regionally, in concerts, recitals and more than a dozen theatrical productions. For more than a decade he was one third of the nostalgic vocal trio Swing City Central, which was a popular vocal trio at music festivals around the region. Michael also performed regularly with Bob Egan Entertainment’s “Four on the Floor” as well as at private functions throughout the tri-state area. He has presented solo cabaret shows at Odette’s and the Cosmopolitan Club in New Hope, performed with cabaret legend Margaret Whiting in a program of the music of Harry Warren, and has appeared in concert throughout the region including appearances at the Iridium, Don’t Tell Mama’s and The Triad. With Bob Egan on piano, Michael released his first CD, “Out of This World” in January 2022. It is available on all the major music platforms.
