Joshua Yudkin performs from experience. The 45 year veteran of the music world has worked with artists ranging from Teddy Pendergrass, Al Martino and Michael Franti[Spearhead] to jazz greats Grover Washington Jr, Pat Martino and Rufus Harley and many more famed artists. He is a Grammy-sharing, Billboard-charted and Emmy-nominated songwriter and composer.

When Joshua sings and plays piano, he covers the pop, classic rock and jazz hits of the past 50 years. “I was a classical piano kid from Philly who listened to the AM stations WFIL & WIBG, then later WMMR. All of that music is in my head anyway, so I just had to learn the correct lyrics! I also focus on singing songs the way the artists sang them, with their nuances and phrasing” says Yudkin. All of which generate smiles on the faces of his audience when he plays. “I look at the guests and play songs that they are familiar with, from Cole Porter to Radiohead” he says. And he takes requests. Just don’t ask him if he knows how to play “Far, Far Away”!
