Paula is an accomplished “cabaret singer/jazz vocalist” from Philadelphia often compared to some of the great contemporaries of the 30’s & 40’s like Sarah Vaughn, Rosemary Clooney and Ella Fitzgerald, and even to the more contemporary artist like Dionne Warwick, Roberta Flack and Stevie Wonder.
Currently, Paula is performing 2 current shows on a regular basis: “ATribute to Ella Fitzgerald”- “A Tisket, A Tasket”. Singing Ella’s most popular songs associated with her… songs such as, “A Tisket, A Tasket”, How High the Moon, Love is here to Stay, Someone to Watch Over Me and others. Her latest performance was New Year’s Eve 2022 with The Trenton Capital Philharmonic Orchestra. Her 2nd show is a tribute to Burt Bacharach & Dionne Warwick…with songs like “A Message to Michael”, Do You Know the Way to San Jose, Alfie, and others. Paula has performed both tribute shows to sell-out audiences all around the Tri-state area with some of the finest musicians in the area.
She also has performed tributes to Judy Garland, Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Peggy Lee, and others. But Paula brings her OWN distinctive panáche to each song she performs…enjoying a great lyric that tugs at your heartstrings, as well as a lyric that’ll make you fall off your seat with laughter. And she has a way of telling the story of each song and sharing the stories of each performer she is paying homage to. Her musical enthusiasm is infectious. Her passion for the music ignites the emotions of her audiences and allows them to “feel” the stories that each song tells.
